Sam Coy graduated from Preston Road School of Preaching, Dallas, Texas, December 1975. He began preaching in January, 1976, in Cheney, Washington, as a mission effort, believing that preaching the word of God would produce fruit that would glorify the God of the word.

Through 32 years of preaching, teaching, and training that followed in various locations, Sam has grown in his understanding of the message of God to man in the person and work of Jesus of Nazareth. His prime interest now is proclaiming Jesus as the only way to the Father.

The evangelism seminars, sometimes referred to as gospel seminars, have evolved over the years into the dynamic form now presented. They are designed to stimulate interest and understanding of Jesus as the Christ. They reveal the eternal plan of God to produce a family relationship between God and God’s creation – man – by sending, in the “form of man,” His own Son. The format of the seminars not only brings about a greater understanding of Jesus as the Christ, the revelation of God, but also an intense interaction between those who are like-minded in seeking “the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” Presentations and small-group discussions of Jesus as the Christ, as well as simple meals shared together, facilitate a greater view of God’s design for the interaction of His people.

Sam has excitedly and successfully shared these seminars in:
Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Montana, Wyoming, California, and Texas.

Caution: The teaching, preaching and interaction of Jesus and the apostles with others tended to polarize hearers. These seminars can have the same effect, because the same message is presented. To some, it is an “aroma of life” and to some it is an “aroma of death” (2 Cornithians 2:15-16). The intent is that voiced here: “…it is the power of God unto salvation to all who believe…” (Romans 1:16)

Sam refuses personal titles, preferring rather to be seen simply as a representative of Jesus, servant to all believers, child of a forgiving God. Sam presents himself as simply a carrier of a message of salvation in Jesus alone. Sam does not dress or speak to impress, except with the exalted yet down-to-earth person of God-with-us (Immanuel), Jesus of Nazareth, Son of the living God.
